Boujour is an experimental typeface. The letterforms are constructed from predefined rectangles. The characters are formed by focusing on the counters rather than the shapes. Each letterform becomes recognizable by the way the negative space cuts into the module. An Arabic version of Boujour is in progress. It is more of a pushed experimentation through which the letters are stylized, disconnected and simplified to their most basic shape.
